Nathan Crankfield

Nathan Crankfield

Nathan was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. He was baptized and raised nominally Protestant, but chose to become the first Catholic in his family at the age of 13. He went on to Mount St. Mary's University in Maryland where he earned an Army ROTC scholarship. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an infantry officer and went on to serve four years of Active Duty. During his years of service, he attended to US Army Airborne School, Ranger School, and Recon training. He also served one combat tour in Afghanistan in 2017. After completing his service commitment, he went to work at the Dynamic Catholic Institute as a parish consultant. In the spring of 2020, he launched Seeking Excellence Ministries, which strives to help people grow in all areas of their lives. He is the podcast host and primary blog contributor for SE. Nathan currently works at Benedctine College as a Resident Director.
