Josh Moldiz

I'm a Catholic husband and father in love with Jesus.

I was raised by my Abuelita (Grandmother) for my whole childhood and it shows. It was her witness that helped cement the love that God had for me as a kid. Blessings keep coming as I'm married to my wife Emily and have 5 kids (Gianna, Lily, Maria Faustina, Joseph, and Judah). So many stories!
I've been blessed with the opportunity to share the faith with youth and young adults in the DC/MD/VA area for the last 10 years at retreats, events, etc.

I received my bachelors in Catechesis and Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville and have been working in catechesis and evangelization ever since (teacher, worship leader, youth minister).

Speaking on evangelization, conversion and pop culture is what drove me to start www.TheHolyRuckus.com which is a media brand that evangelizes through Podcast, Video, and Blogs. We strive to share stories of faith that witness to the Church shaking the rust off and evangelizing the culture like Pope Francis asked youth to do at WYD Rio 2013.

“I hope there will be a ruckus… I want you to make yourselves heard in your dioceses, I want the ruckus to go out, I want the Church to go out onto the streets, I want us to resist everything worldly, everything static, everything comfortable… everything that might make us closed in on ourselves.”

-Pope Francis, World Youth Day 2013, Rio de Janeiro
