John Michael Reyes
John Michael Reyes earned a Master of Divinity degree from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (Berkeley, CA) and is enrolled in the Graduate Certificate Program at the School of Theology•Seminary of Saint John’s University in Collegeville, MN. He is currently Director of Prayer & Worship and Spiritual Life Coordinator for Sacred Heart Schools (Atherton, CA), a Catholic, independent, co-ed day school founded by the Society of the Sacred Heart.
He has been a hospital chaplain, retreat director, and a college campus minister (for Jesuit Universities) particularly in the areas of Liturgy, Sacramental Formation and Spiritual Direction. He is a frequently sought-after liturgy coordinator and cantor for national conferences, including the annual Los Angeles Religious Education Congress. John Michael is a contributing writer for TeamRCIA, a free online resource for catechumenate ministry. His writings can be found at Twenty-Third Publications, Liturgical Press, Liturgy Training Publications, and Paulist Press. John Michael was born, raised and lives in San Francisco, CA and is a proud Filipino American.
