Chris Donatto is married to his best friend Erika and they have two wild daughters. Chris was born in Louisiana and reluctantly moved to Texas during high school but now claims Texas as home. He was raised in the Catholic Church by two faithful parents, along with his two siblings, and it became his passion. He has been involved in youth ministry in some form or fashion (volunteer, core member, intern, full time, missionary, speaker) since his senior year of high school. It's been his passion to help people see their faith in a new light and make it come alive. He received his bachelors in theology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX. He has been in full-time youth ministry since 2011. Chris joined Adore Ministries as a missionary in 2016 and helped to open the Shrine of the True Cross mission in Dickinson, TX. As of March, 2020 he is the Director of Recruitment looking for the right people who feel a call to domestic mission. He enjoys reading (he and his wife started talking because of Lord of the Rings), writing short stories (if you read any you'll probably start checking under the bed for monsters), powerlifting (at least his daughters think he's strong), skateboarding (it's the longboard for this old man), movies (his Netflix algorithm might creep you out), and speaking about the Catholic faith (he gets so revved up he gets sweaty pits). He'd love for you to come over to grill and share some beer or whiskey.
Chris’ speaking experience spans hosting week-long summer camps, youth groups (middle and high school), young adult/campus ministries, youth rallies, retreats, parish worship nights, and missions.
